At Desenio Group, a European e-commerce market leader, we are passionate about interior decor and design! Our business idea is simple: on-trend, attractive decor should be available to everyone. Since our inception, we have seen boom and bust and for the last 12 months we have been on a turnaround journey that is now kicking into the next gear. At Desenio, we're on a mission to inspire people to create beautiful homes. As we continue evolving our brand, we're building a modern Media House that goes beyond traditional marketing to create content people actively choose to watch, read, share and follow. Now we're looking for a Head of Media House to lead this journey.

We are looking for someone who can take lead in establishing and driving our art and design Media House. You will be responsible for developing our multi-media content to drive engagement for our brand. With a data driven approach you’ll use performance data and experimentation to develop media products that drive engagement and measurable results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You'll lead three teams via three direct reports - Community Growth, Photo Production and Art Advisory. You will lead the teams to deliver engaging content across platforms including YouTube, Threads, Substack, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and whatever platform comes next. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll define Desenio's editorial direction and build a world-class Media House that strengthens our brand and engages millions of people around the world.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Define and execute Desenio's Media House vision, editorial- and audience strategy
  • Own Desenio's social media strategy across all channels, ensuring every platform has a clear purpose and reflect Desenio’s brand
  • Build a data-driven approach to content creation by analyzing engagement, retention, conversion and content performance
  • Identify trends and content opportunities, translating insights into concepts that keep Desenio relevant and ahead of the curve
  • Lead, coach and develop three teams, fostering creativity, accountability and a strong data-driven culture.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to create content that drives both engagement and business impact

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Extensive experience leading editorial, content, media or publishing teams
  • Proven experience developing and executing social media strategies across digital platforms, with a track record of growing audiences and delivering measurable engagement
  • Proven experience using audience insights, performance data, experimentation and A/B testing to develop, optimize and scale media products
  • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to inspire, coach, and grow teams
  • A deep understanding of branding, storytelling, and audience engagement
  • A genuine passion for interior design and aesthetics

AS A PERSON

You combine creativity with analytical and strategic thinking. You have a deep understanding of how great content builds brands, communities and long-term loyalty, and you use data and audience insights to understand what truly resonates. You're curious by nature, constantly testing new ideas and excited by the opportunity to build something that doesn't yet exist. You question convention, think strategically, and aren't afraid to test bold ideas.

WHAT WE OFFER

We're building a Media House that people genuinely want to follow. One that inspires, entertains, and shapes conversations around art and design. You'll have the freedom to experiment and challenge conventions alongside passionate colleagues who love trying new things.

At Desenio Group you’ll be part of a young and multicultural team in the company’s beautiful office in Sockholm’s Södermalm.
